Americhem Inc., a global provider of custom color and additive solutions for the polymer and synthetic fibers industries, recently announced new leadership appointments including Dorian Alexandrescu to president, Cathy Hanlin to vice president of human resources and organizational development, and Rod Manfull to director of global supply chain.

Alexandrescu brings more than 20 years of executive experience and most recently was vice president of the Latin American division of Eaton Corporation. Previously, he held the position of executive vice president, Americas, for Wicor, a Swiss-based privately held company. Alexandrescu will direct the overall performance and growth of Americhem in addition to leading day-to-day business operations.

Hanlin, a 26-year Americhem employee, has been promoted to vice president of human resources and organizational development. Her previous roles include director of research and development and director of human resources and strategic planning. She has also worked in product design and quality.

Manfull, also a 26-year Americhem veteran, has been promoted to the position of director of global supply chain. In his new role, he will further develop partnerships with key suppliers. Manfull has previously served as general manager for Americhem’s extrusion and molding business units and, earlier in his career, held leadership roles in manufacturing, technology, quality and product design.

“Dorian, Cathy and Rod clearly possess the corporate values and expectations necessary to lead us into the future,” said Rick Juve, CEO of Americhem. “They bring specific business skills, a strong background and years of experience that will help elevate Americhem and our customers to the next level.”
